Overview

CookieFast provides comprehensive analytics to help you:

Accessing Analytics

  1. Log in to your dashboard
  2. In your dashboard main page, you will see your top 5 properties data
  3. Enter a specific property page, enter Consent Log

Analytics Dashboard

Summary Metrics

Total Views:

  • Number of times banner was displayed
  • Includes returning visitors who reopened banner

Total Accepts:

  • Users who clicked "Accept All"
  • Includes auto-accepts (US visitors)

Total Rejects:

  • Users who clicked "Reject All"
  • Only non-essential cookies rejected

Acceptance Rate:

  • Percentage: (Accepts / Total Views) × 100
  • Industry average: 60-80%

Unique Visitors:

  • Count of unique consent_id values
  • Anonymous tracking (no personal data)

Consent Event Logs

Detailed log of all consent events.

Event Types

  • view - Banner displayed to user
  • accept - User accepted all cookies
  • reject - User rejected non-essential cookies
  • customize - User opened preferences panel
  • save_preferences - User saved custom choices
  • auto_accept_us - US visitor auto-accepted

Log Columns

Consent ID:

  • Unique identifier for this visitor
  • UUID format (e.g., abc123-def456-...)
  • Anonymous (no personal information)
  • Multiple event logs if the user redacts cookie choices

Origin:

  • Full URL where event occurred

Timestamp:

  • Exact date and time

Privacy & Compliance

What Data Is Collected?

Yes:

  • ✅ Anonymous consent ID (UUID)
  • ✅ Event type (view, accept, etc.)
  • ✅ Origin page URL
  • ✅ Timestamp

No:

  • ❌ IP addresses
  • ❌ Personal information
  • ❌ User names or emails
  • ❌ Device fingerprints
